A Thought!
If we all spent just a fraction of our shopping budget in the local shops, the benefit to the local traders would be immense.
I spent a good portion of my time yesterday, checking out more local shops, and giving THEM my custom, and surprisingly i spent less than i imagined.
In the Butchers we could pick the cuts we wanted, rather than having Clam Packed goods.
A little goes a long way if you're a little shop!
Spend your ££££££'s LOCALLY

It get's on my nerves when I hear people say that they shop at the supermarkets/big stores as it's cheaper and less time consuming. I'd strongly disagree about the cost factor (with some exeptions) and also when taking into acocunt the drive time, parking and queing at tills, you'd have done all your shopping on the street.
Cardiff blogers Peter Cox and Coffee Lover (check out Nov. & Dec. arcjives) have both blogged on the issue of shopping locally recently.
